Care Instructions

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
With great sadness as of December 16, 2009,  Peonies will be closing it's online store. Due to the growth of my other company & the birth of my 3rd child I no longer have the time to manage the boutique. I have enjoyed helping many mothers during the years we've been open and will truly miss all of you. We will no longer be accepting any orders at this time, but should you have a question about using your Peonies carrier or previous order questions please feel free to contact me.

Sincerest Regards,
Denise DiCaprio

It is so important that you properly care for your ring sling or mei tai carrier to make sure that it not only looks great, but will do it's job!

About Washing your Carrier:

All of our carriers can be machine washed, we recommend using a mild detergent such as Woolite as it is gentle on the fibers. Please never use harsh detergents or bleach on your carrier as they can weaken the thread around the rings and the fibers of your carrier affecting it's stability and strength. Weakened threads can break and could result in possible injury to your child.

About Drying your Carrier:

We really recommend line drying your carrier, but they can be thrown in the dryer as well (the only exception to this is linen- it will shrink if thrown in the dryer). If you do put your carrier in the dryer, please dry it on a low setting. High temperatures can weaken fibers and cause colors to fade.
