Forward Carry

This position is good for babies with good head/neck control.

I find that it is easiest to postion the baby in forward carry if I am in a sitting position. So go find a comfy chair!

After making sure your sling is not twisted, you're going to make a deep pocket in front by punching (lightly of course) down the center of your sling body. Make sure both edges of the sling are even.

Holding your baby with his/her back to you, fold the babies legs indian style. Lower the baby's bottom first into the sling, making sure that there is ample fabric to cup the baby's bottom on both the front and the back of the child's body.

The top rail will be loose at this point. Adjust it by pulling on the side of the tail that is connected to the top rail of the sling.
